CDL A Route Drivers – $35 per Hour

Location: Groveport, Ohio

About the Position

Our client is seeking experienced CDL A Route Drivers for regional, multi-stop deliveries of automotive parts and supplies to dealerships. Drivers will operate sleeper tractors and unload freight using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.

This position includes regular layovers and early morning start times. Drivers will also use a handheld scanner to scan products during unloading and delivery.

Pay & Schedule
  • Pay Rate: $35 per hour
  • Overtime: Paid after 40 hours
  • Average Annual Pay: Approximately $103,000
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday or Sunday through Thursday, depending on the route
  • Start Times: Between 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Layovers: Approximately 2–3 per week
  • Employment Type: Temp to perm
  • Anticipated Start Date: August 31, 2026

  • Delivery Locations: Automotive dealerships
  • Freight Handling: Light-touch unloading with manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a sleeper tractor-trailer on regional routes
  • Complete multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships
  • Deliver automotive parts and supplies
  • Unload freight using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
  • Scan products with a handheld scanner during deliveries
  • Complete drop-and-hook operations as required
  • Perform transfers as needed
  • Complete approximately 2–3 layovers per week
  • Maintain compliance with all DOT and FMCSA safety requirements
Minimum Requirements
  • Valid CDL A
  • 3 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
  • Valid DOT medical card
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
  • Ability to safely handle and unload palletized automotive parts
  • Regional driving experience preferred
