Overview
We are seeking a full-time Business Analyst OM Support at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for being instrumental in the execution of new features and driving onboarding solutions, for all order management applications globally. The position is accountable for gathering, documenting, and communicating user requirements for projects of all sizes and complexity. This role also exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills that are necessary to succeed in this position, along with possessing excellent research and presentation skills whilst demonstrating proficient use and knowledge of established standards and procedures.
Essential Functions
  • Serves as functional subject matter expert for application/technology solutions and related business processes
  • Collaborates with global team members to understand & document business processes
  • Documents requirements of each project
  • Works closely with business teams, global region experts and IT teams to understand, coordinate and test new systems, new system functionality, and new processes
  • Documents/coordinates documentation of test cases
  • Organizes setups requirements with global region experts and maintains/completes some base Oracle setups
  • Prepares training documentation, and trains global team members on new systems or process functionality
  • Understands discrepancies & gaps in process requirements
  • Holds business team associates & region experts accountable for deliverables
  • Contributes to technical research on new technologies
  • Communicates technical-related product issues
  • Drives continuous improvement to maximize quality and service, whilst reducing costs
  • Recommends infrastructure modifications as needed
  • Makes sure we adhere to local laws, customs and cultures
  • Develops and maintains stakeholder business relationships
  • Provides monthly report to line Manager on successes and areas needing improvements
  • Professionally approaches situations in which conflict is present
  • Ability for domestic and international travel as needed (15% of the time or greater)
  • Must possess a willingness to be flexibile for short notice or extended travel plans
  • Must be willing and flexible to adjust hours to support international time zones

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in a substantially similar role or in Garmin Dealer Support
  • Demonstrates an ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others in a global setting
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Superior organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and quality
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
