Job description

Yamaha Motor Finance Corp has an exciting opportunity to join the Dealer Development Group in Kennesaw, GA! The Dealer Development Manager is responsible for developing and executing dealer education, communication, and training initiatives that drive engagement, operational excellence, and utilization of Yamaha Motor Finance Corporation, U.S.A. (YMFUS) products and services. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Dealer Services, Accounting, Project Management, and other internal teams to create training resources, dealer communication campaigns, and field training programs that enhance the dealer experience, improve operational efficiency, and support business growth.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance a comprehensive library of dealer training resources, including videos, digital content, operational guides, product education, compliance materials, and sales best practices.
  • Partner with the Sales Planning Manager to identify dealer communication opportunities based on engagement metrics, audit findings, and key performance indicators to improve dealer awareness, participation, and utilization of YMFUS products and programs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Field Sales, Dealer Services Center (DSC), and other cross-functional teams to develop and execute dealer communication campaigns supporting new products, operational enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Design and implement regional dealer training programs that increase dealer engagement, operational effectiveness, and product adoption while establishing measurable ROI and success metrics.
  • Assist with bank change requests and partner with Accounting to resolve ACH and Notice of Change (NOC) issues in a timely manner.
  • Administer and manage the Yamaha Employee Financing Program.
  • Serve as the onsite administrator for the Zoho application, supporting system functionality, user administration, and process improvements.
  • Develop and deliver training for internal Yamaha personnel related to dealer development initiatives, including onboarding of new field staff and ongoing educational programs.
  • Review, maintain, and update the Dealer Operations Guide for retail finance, protection products, and other dealer-facing programs to ensure accurate operational guidance and consistency.
  • Partner with Project Management and cross-functional teams by representing the dealer perspective during requirements gathering, testing, and implementation of dealer experience enhancements.
  • Monitor dealer training effectiveness and recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in dealer development, field sales, retail dealership operations, or related experience within the motorsports, automotive, or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of motorsports industry operations and dealer business practices.
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs, educational content, or dealer communications preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external dealer partners.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with CRM platforms or dealer management systems, including Zoho, is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel approximately 15-20%.
