About the role

TeleTracking is seeking a Sales Controller to lead financial oversight, controls, and reporting for sales-related activities. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, Revenue Operations, Legal, and Accounting to support accurate forecasting, deal governance, commission administration, revenue-related reporting, and strong financial discipline across the sales organization.

What you will do

  • Oversee sales finance processes, controls, and reporting to support accurate revenue forecasting, pipeline visibility, bookings analysis, and leadership decision-making.
  • Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, Legal, and Accounting to review deal structure, pricing, contract terms, approvals, and revenue implications.
  • Support commission and incentive compensation processes, including plan administration, payout validation, accruals, reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Analyze sales performance, bookings, backlog, renewals, churn, discounts, margins, and other key commercial metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure sales-related financial activities align with company policies, internal controls, revenue recognition requirements, and audit expectations.
  • Prepare executive-ready reporting, variance analysis, and recommendations that improve sales accountability, forecasting accuracy, and operational effectiveness.

What we look for

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive finance, accounting, sales finance, revenue operations, or controllership experience.
  • Strong understanding of ASC606 related revenue forecasting, bookings, commissions, deal review, financial controls, and sales performance reporting.
  • Experience partnering with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams to support commercial decision-making and disciplined growth.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition concepts, internal controls, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP, CRM, commission, or revenue operations systems - NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, influence without direct authority, maintain confidentiality, and drive process improvement in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior management experience leading a team. 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. (required)
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. (preferred) 

License or Certifications

  • CPA preferred but not required.
  • CMA preferred but not required.
