Job description

As part of the Dentistry team, the Dentist will serve an integral part in the diagnoses and treatment of patients.  The Dentist will assess and address issues with patients' teeth, gums, and other areas of the oral cavity.  The Dentist will provide education and instruction on caring for teeth and gums that affect oral health.  Involvement includes clinical dental work and education with specific responsibilities governed by the state in which the dentist is employed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must hold either a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM) degree
  • Must be currently licensed and in good standing in the state in which they are practicing
  • A minimum of one year experience as a dentist is preferred
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice 
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
