Description
ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Sr. Infoblox DHCP DNS Administrator requiring a Public Trust located in Washington, DC.   
 
ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise network Infoblox Platform solution. Your duties will include hardening Infoblox appliances and maintaining services to meet federal government requirements. As the Sr. Infoblox Administrator you will be the primary technical POC for operational tier 3 support and support governance documentation creation for designed solutions.  
   
As the Sr. Infoblox Administrator you will work with team of network and Jr. infoblox support team supporting the testing and continuous monitoring of Infoblox solutions and services implemented. Knowledge of DHCP configurations and options, DNS configuration, TCP/IP, Network Protocols, Network Encryption, PKI, Cisco, AWS Route 53, and Azure is required for this position.    

Duties and Responsibilities:    

  • Technical Design, implement, and manage Infoblox Platform solutions.  
  • Create technical architectural documents and presenting those planning documents at technical review boards for developing a SDLC for the client.
  • Performing technical review of design analysis of enterprise network infrastructure solutions integrated with Cisco, AWS, and Azure Network environments.
  • Provide Tier 3 operational troubleshooting and Support and tracking the remediation of vulnerabilities identify with implemented Infoblox solutions.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree or 20 years of equivalent professional experience in the field of information system administration, information systems, telecommunications, or related technical or functional discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience with DNS BIND 
  •  
    10+ years of experience with DNS Zone transfers to CDN providers 
  •  
    10+ years of experience with Infoblox systems and IPAM/DNS integrations 
  •  
     5+ years of experience with DNSSEC 
  • The position requires strong technical experience with Infoblox Platform, DHPC, DNS, IP Address Management, and Cloud and on-premise Network.
  • Experience and understanding of using TCP/IP networking concepts, DNS, packet analysis tools (Wireshark or tcpdump). 
  • Certifications: CDCA DDI Configuration and Administration 8.4 or higher.   
   
Preferred Qualifications: 20 years leading federal and/or DOD agencies performing DHCP DNS IP Address Management (IPAM) on enterprise network projects.
