  • Serves as interim Case Manager or clinical support as needed to maintain census stability and patient continuity.
  • Supports high-acuity or complex cases requiring experienced hospice nursing expertise.

Regional Resource & Staffing Support:

  • Deploys to hospice locations experiencing staffing shortages, leadership vacancies, census growth, or operational strain.
  • Provides temporary coverage for nursing staff and/or DCS roles when needed.
  • Assists with onboarding, mentoring, and stabilizing new clinical staff and leaders.
  • Supports branch leadership with workflow organization and productivity optimization.

Cross-Trained DCS Responsibilities:

  • Functions in a DCS capacity when assigned.
  • Supports compliance with hospice Conditions of Participation and accreditation standards.
  • Participates in interdisciplinary group (IDG) meetings.
  • Assists with clinical audits, documentation reviews, and quality initiatives.
