Position Responsibilities
We are seeking a Summer 2027 Intern to join our Strategic Finance & Corporate Development team, supporting the financial analysis, modeling, and M&A work that informs Executive Leadership decisions. Over roughly 8 to 10 weeks, you will own 3 to 5 projects end-to-end. Recent examples from this program include a customer-level contribution margin and unit economics analysis, a recurring revenue and retention model to support long-range planning, and a market-sizing and competitive intelligence forecasting model to prioritize acquisition targets. The role reports to the leader of Strategic Finance & Corporate Development, and partners closely with FP&A, Accounting, Product Management, and the Enterprise Data & Intelligence team. Rising seniors who perform well will be considered for a full-time Analyst offer to start after graduation.
Financial Modeling & Analysis
  • Build and maintain financial models in Excel covering recurring revenue, retention, customer profitability, and unit economics
  • Analyze bookings, revenue, and margin trends to identify drivers of performance and inform long-range planning and capital allocation decisions
  • Document assumptions and methodology so the team can maintain and extend the models after the internship ends
Corporate Development & Market Analysis
  • Support the M&A process: acquisition target research and screening, comparable company and precedent transaction benchmarking, valuation analysis, and financial due diligence
  • Build market-sizing and competitive intelligence analysis using external market data, government data sources, and industry benchmarks to size opportunities and prioritize targets
Financial & Ad Hoc Analysis
  • Partner with the FP&A team on ad hoc financial and strategic analysis requested by Finance leadership, including budget, forecast, and investment case support
  • Translate open-ended business questions into a structured financial analysis and a clear, quantified recommendation
Stakeholder Partnership
  • Present completed work directly to Finance leadership and the leader of Strategic Finance & Corporate Development
  • Build working relationships with FP&A, Accounting, Product Management, and business partners across the organization over the course of the summer

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; rising junior or senior standing for summer 2027
  • Proficient in Excel, including building financial models with clear assumptions, data tables, and lookup functions
  • Solid grasp of accounting fundamentals and how the three financial statements connect; coursework or internship experience in corporate finance, valuation, or M&A is a plus
  • Familiarity with SaaS and recurring revenue metrics (ARR, retention, unit economics) and with valuation methods such as comparable companies and DCF is a plus; exposure to SQL, Power BI, CapIQ, or PitchBook is helpful but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to work through an open-ended problem, not just execute a predefined task
  • Critical thinker with intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Self-directed, with the ability to own a project with regular, but not daily, direction
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analysis to non-technical audiences
