Skills/Qualifications:
1. Able to diagnose, install, or repair of all types of boilers, burners, furnaces, water heaters, unit heaters, burner controls, values, motors, industrial control panels, heat exchangers, pumps, fuel oil equipment, piping and related components for High/Low pressure hot water & steam cast-iron, firetube, watertube and condensing boiler systems.
2. Knowledge of AC/DC electrical equipment, digital process and automation controls a plus.
3. Pipefitting knowledge and experience a plus.
4. Able to dismantle malfunctioning equipment and test components using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic testing equipment.
5. Able to provide boiler service including pre-heating season start up, commissioning, annual maintenance per manufacturer specs, repair and shutdown of boiler system. Provide reports and combustion analysis.
6. Able to read and understand equipment specifications, blueprints, wiring prints and schematics

Typical Equipment Serviced:
Commercial & industrial boilers, industrial ovens and furnaces, gas & oil burners, unit heaters, waste-oil heaters, rooftop units, burner controls, feed water systems , AC/DC motors, VFD Drives, heat exchangers, circulators, fuel oil equipment, gas train repairs, pipe leaks, replace boiler sections, stacks & breaching, refractory repairs, etc. steam, hydronic, condensing & electric systems operating on natural & propane gas, #2, and #4 oil.

Other Requirements:
• Mechanical Licenses preferred in the State of RI and/or Massachusetts.
• RI/MA Plumbing and/or Electrical license a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with commercial or industrial heating & process systems.
• Valid driver's license and possess a good driving record.
• Participation in the On-Call rotation required with other service technicians to provide 24/7 emergency service including before/after-hours weekends and holidays. Must be willing to work weekend overtime if required.
• Be able to work in high places, enclosed spaces and working in high heat temperature ranges. Able to lift 40+ pounds.
• Observe all federal & state codes, follow company & customer procedures, safety rules and awareness.
• Work as an individual and as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Provides technical support to customers.
• Honest & reliable. Able to be flexible, unafraid to learn new skills.
