Job description

We're excited to offer a Peak Season Bonus of up to $1,200! Plus, earn an extra $2.00 per hour in Peak Season pay through September 15, 2026. Be sure to ask about the details during your interview!
What you will do:
The Inventory Control Verifying and Compliance role works collaboratively with Receiving, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable to resolve problem receipts in a timely manner. ICVC requires a mastery of the daily functions of the IC Verifying and IC Compliance rolls, as well as having some specialty skills to maintain medium and long term goals in at least one of these aspects of the DC:
  • Logistical support for QBP's proprietary brands
  • Slotting and Capacity Management
  • Outbound order support, SAP-High Jump Interface management
  • Mastery of trouble shooting idocs
  • Processing customer returns
  • Error analysis for products from external vendors
  • Inventory accuracy and quarantine inventory
  • SAP-HighJump interface management
  • Be an Integral part of development and maintenance of Quality Control best practices.

This includes reporting, analysis, and extensive collaboration with other DC departments, Accounting, and Purchasing.

What you need to succeed:
  • Mastery of the daily functions of Inventory Control Verifying and Compliance
  • Demonstrate self-directed work skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills required
  • Proficient time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Superlative verbal and written communication skills required
  • Comfortable with providing direction for and coaching others
  • Knowledge of Quality Control requirements and processes.
  • Previous distribution center operations experience required
  • Intermediate to Expert knowledge of software systems required (SAP, HighJump, MS Office, Excel, Word)
  • Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement in the position and the department
  • Demonstrated peer leadership through workplace changes
  • Ability to wear company-provided cut-resistant gloves for entire shift

Other related criteria:
Reports to a DC Supervisor or Manager
Rotating Shift to maintain proficiencies in all ICVC processes
Ability to lift 55 lbs. repetitively and team lift to 70 lbs., stand and walk up to 10 hours per shift, and to sit and type at a computer with visual acuity
May occasionally work overtime hours as dictated by business need
