Job Summary

Provides support in the daily receiving, storing and shipping of materials that require motorized forklifts equipped with attachments more sophisticated than just blades.  This includes raw materials as well as all areas of Finished Goods. Operation requires extensive use of computerized Warehouse Management system equipment while maintaining the highest levels of inventory accuracy and facility safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

    Routinely operates forklifts with attachments other than blades (i.e. Squeeze, Slip-sheet), Double Reach and Drexels safely and efficiently. 
    Maintain working knowledge of warehouse set-up and location identification.
    Report shipping/receiving discrepancies.
    Operate a Radio Frequency Terminal (RFT).
    Load and unload products and materials.
    Pull product, stock and stage for order fills.
    Pull orders for shipment; check for and ensure shipment meets order specifications.
    Routinely inspect equipment for maintenance needs; maintain a clean work environment and ensure safe operation of the warehouse; continuously follow all established safety protocols. 
    Other duties as deemed necessary.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education:  Two (2) years operations experience in a warehouse environment in lieu of required coursework.  


Minimum Work Experience: Experience using multiple forklift attachments (i.e. Squeeze, slip-sheet, drexels and double-reach).

License(s) / Certification(s):  None

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Basic mathematic skills and the ability to execute simple math.
    Good communication, written and verbal skills.
    Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment and across the Company.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
    Ability to work flexible, non-traditional, hours when necessary.
    Ability to work in an environment of severe heat/cold.
    Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
    Ability to work in a constant state of alertness.

Physical Requirements

Must lift 5 lbs. frequently to 50 lbs. occasionally.
