Job description

RahrBSG is looking for a DC Associate at our location in Houston, Texas. The DC Associate receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within a distribution center. The DC Associate supports key initiatives of the company by successfully completing operational responsibilities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, safety, and cost control are prioritized.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assembling customer orders from stock and preparing order for shipment
  • Sorting and maintaining stock inventory using RF scanner
  • Transferring materials from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
  • Load and unload truck orders ensuring all loads are properly secured for outbound shipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
  • Follow all safety procedure and policies
  • Maintain inventory records using worksheets and computer software
  • Maintain and care for all equipment in warehouse including forklifts
  • Other duties as assigned

Things you will need:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Ability to lift up to 55lbs
  • Attention to detail
  • Forklift Experience is an asset
