Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
seeking a highly skilled multi-platform Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and optimize our critical data infrastructure. You will be responsible for the health, performance, security, and availability of our Netezza data warehouse appliances, Oracle RAC databases, and DB2 systems. The ideal candidate will provide 24/7 production support and lead database upgrade/migration projects
Roles & Responsibilities
Netezza Administration: Perform NPS (Netezza Performance Server) administration, including grooming, Genstats, user management, and NzAdmin/NZMigrate tool usage.
Oracle Database Administration: Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle 12c/19c/21c. Manage Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters), ASM (Automatic Storage Management), and Data Guard for high availability.
DB2 Administration: Administer DB2 LUW (Linux, Unix, Windows) or z/OS. Perform table space management, reorgs, runstats, and image copies.
Performance Tuning: Perform end-to-end SQL tuning and system optimization across all three platforms.
Backup & Recovery: Develop, test, and maintain automated backup/recovery strategies, ensuring strict RPO/RTO adherence.
Security & Compliance: Implement database security policies, manage user permissions, and ensure compliance with auditing standards.
Scripting & Automation: Automate repetitive DBA tasks using Shell scripting (Bash/Korn) or Python
Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000 per year
