Position Title: Oracle Apps DBA
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Contract Level: 6+ Months
Pay Rate: $65/hr
Client: Healthcare Provider
Job Description:
The ideal candidate must possess strong background Oracle DB administration. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain experts and technical experts in the team.
Responsibilities:
As a Oracle Apps DBA, you will:
  • Maintain active relationships with customer stakeholder to understand upgrade requirements
  • Installation, configuration and upgradation of Oracle DB and related products
  • Understand and maintain the backup and recovery policies as set by customer for various app db environments
  • Own patch management and security implementation for the DB landscape

  • Requirements:
  • 10+ years of Oracle APPS DBA Experience with at least one R12 Upgrade (Preferably from 12.1 to 12.2).
  • Experience in Oracle 19c DB and multi-tenant database support
  • Expertise in database performance tuning, query optimization, and assist application teams in identifying and resolving performance related issues.
  • Experience in deploying schema patches and implement database configuration changes in production.
  • Experience in cloning of applications and Database.
  • Experience in developing tools, standards, governance polices to ensure efficient, effective, and compliant delivery of database capabilities
  • Good communication skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Provide overlap coverage with onsite/customer teams.
