We are currently offering up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus for Logistics Driver new hires. Bonuses are made in 2 equal installments at 90 days and 180 days of employment.

Job Title: Logistics Driver

Location: Princeton, West Virginia

Shift: 1st

Starting Compensation Range: $21.28 - $31.31 hour 

What You Will Do:  

  • Pick up and deliver all products in an accurate, safe and prompt manner, Secure cargo for transport as outlined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety standards using chains/binders to conform with local, state and federal regulations
  • Load and unload truck in most efficient manner, ensuring orders match manifests
  • Conduct pre/post/periodic trip inspections to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good operating order at all times
  • Perform basic truck maintenance, including adding oil, fuel or fluids, and minor repairs
  • Maintain interior and exterior of truck to reflect professional appearance
  • Maintain daily hours and service log according to state and federal regulations
  • Demonstrate and instruct customer on the proper operation of equipment
  • Train drivers, as needed
  • Operate a forklift, as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:  

  • Minimum two years' of CDL driving experience, including heavy-haul and tractor/lowboy driving
  • Valid CDL A licensure, required
  • Excellent driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of DOT and Company safety standards and regulations
  • Capable of operating a 5 or 6 axle configuration truck
  • Ability to conduct inspections of truck to ensure it is in good working order
  • Ability to secure cargo for transport using chains and/or binders to conform with local, state and federal regulations
  • Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform basic truck maintenance tasks
  • Knowledge of rental, construction, and generator equipment
  • Must be able to operate, demonstrate and instruct proper equipment operation
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Willingness to work additional hours as required by job and customer demand

Physical Requirements:  

  • Frequently sitting for extended periods of time
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally move and/or lift up to 75 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
