About the Role:

Do you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical problems, and keeping machines running at peak performance?

We're looking for a Part-Time Maintenance Technician who takes pride in keeping production moving. In this hands-on role, you'll diagnose and repair equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, fabricate and install replacement parts, and work with team members to ensure machinery and facilities operate safely and efficiently.


Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment issues to minimize downtime and keep production running efficiently.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment upkeep to ensure machines operate safely and reliably.
  • Set up, fabricate, and repair machine components using machine tools, hand tools, and power tools
  • Test, maintain, and improve machinery and facility systems, working closely with production and maintenance teams to support plant operations


Qualifications:

  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective repairs.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; related post-secondary education, maintenance training, or equivalent experience is a plus.
