Assistant Director

Experience:

EEC Teacher Certificate in Infant/Toddler and/or Pre-school Early childhood education: 1 year (Required) EEC D1 or D2 Certification (preferred) Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Early Childhood or a related field CPR & First Aid Certification (willing to obtain)

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

Staff Management Staff evaluations per EEC regulations Review all evaluations with each staff member to provide feedback and create individual professional development plans. (Collaborative with Center Director) Daily Teacher Nurturing: Provide regular support and guidance to teachers within their center Plan monthly events/outings for their center Help create a community that is driven by our values Weekly Curriculum Tasks: Completion of Observation Forms Participation in center weekly team meetings Ongoing training (regular attendance at support calls with Franchise Support Team) Assistance with curriculum/cultural material inventory distribution Check-in and supervision of onboarding during new hire orientation (initial 12 weeks) Monthly Curriculum Tasks: Confirm curriculums are posted on parent boards Confirm curriculums match work on shelves Check curriculum binders Review and approve submitted Original Lesson Plans Parent Management: Child development reports per EEC regulations: Review all reports with each Staff member to provide feedback prior to providing to parents. (Collaborative with Center Director) Attend Center parent events.

Review Work rotation outlines (if applicable) Make sure all lesson plans have been turned in by the 15th of every month Confirm correct materials are on ordering forms & approved Daily Sanitary Tasks: Classroom COVID-safe sanitation while children are outdoors Snack/lunch assistance Protect, Promote, and Support the Rock and Roll Daycare Brand Understand and support the Internal Quality Assurance Review. Know about and be able to explain new products, procedures, and equipment processes.

Coach and Develop Train the teaching Staff on curriculum, programming, and operational systems. Ensure the Continual Learning Plan and all state licensing standards are met. Communication Consistently promote Rock and Roll Daycare's Mission, Vision, and Values. Use the coaching process in communication. Facilitate the Teacher's understanding of the philosophy of innovation that supports strategic updates of standards, products, services, and/or systems. Foster the Teacher's understanding of the brand and value of system consistency.

Monitor parent and/or Staff complaints to ensure appropriate resolution. Use the "consultative approach" in communication with the Teacher. Foster Teacher's understanding of the brand and the importance of system-wide consistency. Participate in meetings, training, and conferences as requested. Perform other duties as requested by the Director. Reporting This position reports to Center Director and Owner

Qualifications of the Director:

Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, business, or a related field preferred or 5 years of professional experience and demonstrated proficiency in multi-site early childhood education, operations and management, and business growth.
