Job Description

As a Card Shuffler, you will be responsible for shuffling, sorting, and counting card games for all studio tables in a live streaming environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Present games in a live streaming environment, adhering to the multi-state Gaming Commission Regulations, PT Services Delaware regulations, and live unit policies and procedures.
  • Attend live gaming tables for card-change procedure according to the company’s guidelines.
  • Evaluate and keep track of the quality and visual look of the cards.
  • Properly check and shuffle gaming cards at the card counting rooms (hereinafter, CCRs).
  • Follow the internal shuffling procedure in the CCRs and all live gaming tables.
  • Follow the work rotation schedule assigned when performing duties.
  • Immediately report to the Pitboss of any risks or committed mistakes, problems, and/or unusual activities in the gaming studios and other companies’ premises caused by other employees or other causes.
  • Inform Pitboss on time to replace and/or receive new cards or a deck of cards for each shift.
  • Maintain and store playing cards in safe areas, equipment for the tables, and keep related documentation up to date.
  • Attend training courses/workshops as required and strive to improve technical skills continually.
  • Assist with training new shufflers if required by the management.
  • Follow any updates and amendments to the shuffling procedures.
  • Keep a professional demeanor towards players.
  • Maintain professional and clear communication with management and peers.
  • Adhere to the gaming studios' rules and any other rules that management may introduce at any time.
  • Keep confidential information within the company’s authorized individuals.
  • Perform any additional duties as instructed by management.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Basic computer skills- MS Office, electronic mail, etc.
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers in a live streaming environment.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor, including manner of speech, appearance, and posture in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to deal with potential guest conflicts professionally, maintaining Playtech’s guest service standards.
  • Ability to deal, shuffle, sort cards, and other operating gaming equipment involving highly repetitive hand and arm movements.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Punctuality and attention to detail.
  • Be able to wear assigned uniforms.
  • Must be able to obtain a Michigan Casino license.
