Cooler Stocking Specialist – Convenience Store

Position Description

The Cooler Stocking Specialist plays an important role in keeping Wally’s beverage and refrigerated sections fully stocked, organized, and ready for guests at all times. This position focuses on stocking products, rotating inventory, and maintaining visually appealing coolers that make it easy for guests to find what they need.

This is a hands-on, active role that works closely with the Inventory and Convenience Store teams to keep products moving efficiently from deliveries to the sales floor. Successful team members enjoy staying busy, working with inventory, and taking pride in organized, well-stocked coolers.

What You’ll Do at Wally’sStock & Maintain Coolers

Keep beverage, dairy, and refrigerated food coolers stocked throughout the day so guests always find fresh, available products.

Rotate Products & Maintain Freshness

Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) practices to ensure product freshness and reduce waste.

Organize & Merchandise Displays

Maintain clean, organized cooler shelves and build promotional displays or feature sets when needed.

Manage Inventory Flow

Receive and store cooler inventory, maintain backstock organization, and help ensure products move efficiently from storage to the sales floor.

Maintain Clean & Safe Work Areas

Keep coolers, shelves, floors, and storage areas clean and safe while following proper food safety and temperature standards.

Support the Store Team

Work closely with Inventory, Convenience Store, and other departments to keep products stocked and operations running smoothly.

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Ability to lift and move product throughout the shift

Physical Requirements

This position involves standing, walking, bending, and stocking products throughout the shift. Team members may regularly lift 10–25 pounds and occasionally lift heavier items when stocking cooler inventory.
