Position Summary

Orders and stocks drugs, supplies, and over-the-counter merchandise. Stocks and straightens merchandise for sale in the pharmacy area of the warehouse. Clears and cleans aisles. Provides a high level of member service.

Job Duties

  • Spots for Forklift Drivers to keep people out of fall-danger zones.
  • Follows merchandising standards and practices. Aligns product, collects and returns stray items, stocks to maintain high product levels.
  • Communicates with supervisors and managers to determine merchandising plans and priorities. Writes list of products to be brought from steel, by forklift driver, for stocking.
  • Uses box knives to cut boxes for display/accessibility of product and to cut twine or shrink-wrap from pallets. Wraps or ties and tags pallets to be returned to steel.
  • Stocks opened cases onto shelves. Moves and positions pallets of merchandise using manual pallet jack. Stacks product from partial pallets onto full pallets.
  • Sets up display models, assembling as necessary. Modifies displays for safe handling by members, e.g., bolting heavy
  • equipment, taping blade edges. Follows all safety and security procedures.
  • Pulls loose cardboard and slip-sheets from floor. Clears the sales floor of debris and sweeps. Removes empty pallets from the sales floor. Operates cardboard baler and trash compactor. Rewraps loose products using shrink wrap.
  • Cleans department by sweeping, mopping, spraying, wiping, and dusting. Empties trash and operates trash compactor and cardboard baler. Follows safety and security procedures, including immunization and hazardous waste disposal, and securing the department at the end of the day. Secures storage and disposes of confidential paperwork.
  • Assists in the Pharmacy as needed and directed by the Pharmacy Manager.
  • Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery.
  • Assists with department duties as necessary.
  • Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
