Job description

Arcosa Telecom is currently looking to hire a Machine Operator for the plant operation located in Muskogee, OK. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining complicated machinery and have plasma cutting machine experience. Work in dedicated capacity specializing in a single machine or class of machines (e.g. Drills, printers, forklifts).

Arcosa, Inc., headquartered in Dallas, TX, is a growth-oriented manufacturer of infrastructure-related products and services with leading positions in construction, energy, and transportation markets. Arcosa Telecom Structures is an AWS and AISC certified fabricator of self-supporting towers, guyed towers, monopoles, tower modification packages and miscellaneous structural tower components.ย 

Location:ย  Muskogee, OK

What you'll do:

  • Operate specialty machinery to fabricate, manufacture, assemble, or move products
  • Maintain and monitor machine to make sure it functions properly
  • Conduct quality checks periodically
  • Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations as needed
  • Analyze machine operations and output if applicable.
  • Adjust machine as needed for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production
  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll need:

  • Knowledge of safe machine practice standards
  • Understanding of how operated machines work
  • Ability to read blueprints or production schematics
  • Ability to keep up machinery
  • Ability to do small to moderate repairs on machinery
  • Plasma cutting experienceย preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Hourly full-time position
    • 1st Shift:ย  ย  ย 4:00 AM - 2:30 PMย 
    • 2nd Shift:ย  ย  2:30 PM - 1:00 AM
  • Safety sensitive position
  • Work environment can include plant, warehouse, production and non-productions areas
  • This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond normal hours, shift and on weekends/holidays
  • Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant
  • Required to wear safety boots, hard hats, ear protection, and safety glasses.
