Job description

Are you a skilled forklift operator with a passion for precision and safety? We’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused forklift driver to join our fast-paced warehouse team!

APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Romulus, MI looking to add a Forklift Operator to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be operate a forklift safely within the warehouse. Keep reading for more details!

What your day will look like:

  • In-depth knowledge of forklift operations and experience with steel rack stacking

  • Skilled in operating forklifts safely in high-traffic industrial environments

  • Efficiently stacking and unstacking large volumes of goods onto shelves and pallets

  • Transporting goods from storage areas to loading zones for shipping

  • Unloading deliveries and relocating products to designated storage spaces safely

  • Ensuring forklift operating areas remain clear of spills and obstacles

  • Conducting routine checks to identify faults or damage on forklift equipment

  • Using industrial plastic wrap and wooden pallets for secure stacking and packaging of goods

  • Staying updated on health and safety standards and forklift operational guidelines

  • Organizing partial pallets for incoming goods to streamline operations

What we are looking for:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3-5 years of recent forklift experience

  • Must hold a valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA or equivalent).
