Job Title: Transportation Equipment Yard Boss
Location: Coronado, CA
Start Date: 1 August 2026 contingent on award
Clearance: Active SECRET Clearance Required
Job Description:
We are hiring a Yard Boss to assist the Transportation Division’s LCPO with the daily operational management of the LOGSU-1 equipment and vehicle yard.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the proper check-out/in of Government vehicles, parking arrangements, and overall customer service.
  • Set up and secure the wash rack area daily; clean out the wash rack collection pit and fuel water separator.
  • Inspect vehicles for turn in/re-trip (completing a thorough 360-degree walk-around).
  • Cycle and clean vehicles that have not been operated during the week.
  • Facilitate collateral equipment check-in/out and inventory toolboxes.
Mandatory Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • Must maintain a forklift license.
  • Excellent work ethic and physical ability to perform daily yard rounds and vehicle inspections.
  • Must possess an active SECRET security clearance.
