JOIN OUR SECOND SHIFT TEAM AS A LIGHT MANUFACTURING AND CARPENTRY ASSOCIATE!
At HYMH, we're committed to delivering the right part, to the right place, at the right time-and we need dedicated team members to make it happen. As a Light Manufacturing and Carpentry Associate, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional quality and service to our customers by constructing structures for unit shipments and supporting a variety of warehouse requirements.
Shift: Second Shift - 3:00PM - 11:30PM EST
What You'll Do:
  • Customer Care: Deliver results and provide an optimal customer experience.

  • Maintain Quality & Safety: Identify non-conformities, keep the warehouse clean and organized, adhere to 5S principles, and follow all safety procedures.

  • Support Team Objectives: Maintain flexibility to support shifting production needs, including helping in different areas of the warehouse when required to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

  • Operate Equipment: Safely operate forklifts and other machinery; maintain a valid Forklift Operator's license; change batteries and propane tanks as needed.

  • Build and Prepare Materials: Build boxes for loose parts and structures for warehouse, prepare packaging, resolve discrepancies, and operate all machinery used in the Woodshop.

  • Hydraulic System Operations: Set up and operate hydraulic presses, utilize hydraulic hose crimping equipment, run hoist/crane systems, and accurately cut hoses and install fittings as required.

  • Read & Measure: Interpret blueprints and instructions, measure materials, and follow packaging codes for accurate construction and assembly.

  • Meet Performance Expectations: Achieve productivity requirements while maintaining accuracy and quality by demonstrating problem solving, critical thinking, and collaboration.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:
  • Strong teamwork, communication (written and verbal), and critical thinking skills.

  • Safety-focused, detail-oriented, and results-driven with the ability to work independently.

  • Familiarity with warehouse policies and standard operating procedures.

  • Previous carpentry, mechanical, and packaging experience in manufacturing setting preferred

  • Ability to manage high-volume inventory and consistently meet deadlines without compromising quality.

  • Comfortable using technology (RF devices, handheld and flatscreen computers, etc.).

  • Experience with Sit Down, Stand Up, Reach, and Order Selector equipment-or willingness to learn.

Physical Demands
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.

  • Reliable vision (with corrective lenses if needed).

  • Ability to use power tools with a full range of motion as needed for various tasks.

  • Comfortable rotating through multiple work areas.

Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
