Sit-Down Forklift Operator Job Details:
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM + OT as needed
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour

Sit-Down Forklift Operator Job Description:
  • Operate a sit-down forklift to safely move freight throughout the dock
  • Load and unload trailers using a forklift and other material-handling equipment
  • Move freight directly between inbound and outbound trailers in a cross-dock environment
  • Stage and organize freight for efficient loading and shipment
  • Inspect freight for visible damage and report any issues
  • Ensure freight is handled safely and accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized dock area
  • Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines
  • Assist with additional dock and warehouse duties as needed
Sit-Down Forklift Operator Job Requirements:
  • Previous sit-down forklift experience required
  • Previous dock, cross-dock, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Ability to safely load, unload, and move freight
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and remain active throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to safety and accuracy
  • Reliable attendance and transportation
