Job Details:

Summary: This position is responsible for operating machinery and maintaining production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Description: These positions are in the Transportation Department as a Shag Driver. This position requires continuously moving trailers in and out of loading dock. Tasks include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 50 lbs) and reaching. This position will climb in and out of trucks repeatedly. Since this position works outside in the seasonal weather, this position can work in a hot, humid environment or cold, damp environment and slippery surfaces. Must be willing and able to stand or walk on hard floors 8 - 10 hours a day. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

This position is for C shift.

Work hours: 10pm-6:30 Mon-Fri with occasional Saturdays. Candidates willing and able to work other shifts including weekends and overtime preferred.

Requirements:

Must have experience with moving any type of trailer.

Must have a current valid driver's license and at least 18 years of age.

No DUI/DWIs in the last 12 months.

This location is not accepting rehires.
