Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) – Residential Treatment (Girls 12–17)

Cranberry Township, PA
Full-Time & Per Diem | Multiple Shifts Available

 $  $18 - $21 per hour 

Now Hiring for a Brand-New Girls’ Residential Treatment Facility!

DTAC is opening a new residential treatment program for adolescent girls (ages 12–17) and is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our team immediately. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a mission-driven startup environment where you can make a direct impact on youth and families.


Available Shifts

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM (4 days/week)


Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Technician (Residential Treatment Staff) provides direct care, supervision, and therapeutic support to adolescent residents. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment while promoting positive behavioral and emotional growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety, supervision, and well-being of all residents
  • Support positive behavior management and social development
  • Provide direct care and engagement with youth (1:1 and group settings)
  • Assist with daily routines, structure, and programming
  • Complete daily documentation, including progress notes and logs
  • Participate in therapeutic groups and recreational activities
  • Collaborate with caseworkers and treatment team
  • Support individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Assist with crisis intervention as needed


Minimum Qualifications

  • Age 21+ required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience in behavioral health, human services, youth care, or residential settings preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required


Required Clearances (or ability to obtain)

  • PA Child Abuse Clearance (Act 33)
  • PA Criminal Background Clearance
  • FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 73)

  • Ability to complete Safe Crisis Management (SCM) training (provided)
