  • Bailey Medical Center offers a full range of medical services, including general surgery, maternity, gynecology, bariatrics, orthopedics and emergency care. The 73-bed hospital is one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the region.
  • Individuals in the job are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting patient care, including patient education, for all age groups, pediatric, adult and geriatric, peri-operative, and postoperative periods of the patient's surgical experience.
  • Incumbents maintain a clean and safe environment, observe and enforce policies, procedures and practices of the Department of Surgical Services and the institution.
  • Must use the installed computer systems to support and augment services and be available for mandatory call with a 20-minute response time.
  • The Registered Nurse may make decisions to delegate appropriate nursing tasks to other staff members based upon individual patient need and staff qualifications.

Job Requirements:

  • ADN or BSN
  • Oklahoma or applicable Multi-state RN license (upon hire)
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • ACLS (within 30 days of hire)
  • PALS (within 30 days of hire)

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year Critical Care experience
