Registered Nurse (RN) – Weekend SupervisorSkilled Nursing / Long-Term Care

Position Summary:


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to join our skilled nursing and long-term care team. The Weekend Supervisor will oversee resident care, support nursing staff, and ensure high-quality, compassionate care is provided to our residents. This role requires strong clinical judgment, leadership skills, and a commitment to resident-centered care. This position comes with a $8,000 bonus paid out over quarterly.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to a diverse population of residents, including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitor resident responses

  • Perform nursing assessments and identify changes in resident condition, communicating concerns promptly to providers and appropriate team members

  • Supervise and support nursing staff during weekend shifts to promote quality care and compliance with facility standards

  • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families to develop and implement effective care plans

  • Ensure accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of resident care, assessments, and treatments

  • Promote resident safety, infection prevention practices, and regulatory compliance

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes, care standards, and satisfaction

  • Ability to work a weekend day shift with flexibility to cover occasional evening shifts as needed

  • Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents, as well as push/pull equipment as needed
