Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse

Department: Long-Term Careย 

Pay Rate: $34.00 Hourlyย 

Hours: 5:45am- 6:15pm (3- days a week, Rotating days during the week with every other weekend)

The charge nurse position is responsible for:

  • Performing a variety of duties to provide quality nursing care to residents and to coordinate total nursing care for residents
  • Implementing specific procedures and programs
  • Participating with the director of nursing and the ADON in establishing specific goals
  • Determining work procedures and expediting workflow
  • Ensuring compliance with all operating policies and procedures and Oklahoma Department of Health regulations and Federal Health Care Administration regulations
  • Communicating with and supervising appropriate personnel
  • Providing daily reports and other periodic reports
  • Performing all the duties of a certified nursing assistant and CMA when required

Qualifications:

  • Have an active State of Oklahomaย RN License.ย 
  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
  • Must be able to work weekends & holidays.ย 
  • Frequent lifting & moving. Must have the ability to lift, move, push, pull, & transfer 100 lbs with the physical capability to perform all job-related duties.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and reliable transportation every single day
  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
  • Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
  • Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environmentย 
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
  • Supportive and compassionate
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and aย degreeย from an accredited school of nursing.ย 
  • Take pride in providing high-quality care
  • Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
