Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week day shift travel assignment in Maine, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and an active ME or compact RN license.

Details
  • Operating Room (OR) position within a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule
  • 13-week assignment
  • Pay period runs Sunday through Saturday
  • Every other weekend availability may be required at the request of the Department Manager or Supervisor
Requirements
  • Active Maine (ME) or compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS/BCLS and ACLS (ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 per state mandate
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multitask required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
Additional Information
  • Performs patient care functions under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
  • Telemetry experience is preferred
  • Holiday coverage required for: Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July
  • Travelers may work a maximum of 2 consecutive 13-week assignments at this facility, after which a minimum 26-week break is required before returning
