Day Shift Licensed Practical Nurse Build a Nursing Career with Purpose!

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Venango County Prison | Pennsylvania
Schedule: Full-Time Days | 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Rotation: Rotating Schedule Including Every Other Weekend

Southern Health Partners is looking for a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Venango County Prison. As an LPN, you'll provide direct patient care, administer medications and treatments, perform nursing assessments, monitor chronic conditions, and collaborate with an experienced medical team dedicated to delivering quality healthcare in a safe and structured environment.

What You'll Do
  • Provide direct patient care and nursing assessments
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes
  • Respond to urgent medical situations
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records
  • Collaborate with providers and fellow healthcare professionals
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care
Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania LPN license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
  • Correctional nursing experience is welcome but not required
