Job description

Position Highlights
  • Department: The Mayer Center
  • Hours: Full-Time/40 hours
  • Shift: Days, 1st Shift

Position Summary:
A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional who works under the supervision of a BCBA. The RBT is primarily responsible for direct implementation of treatment plans related to skill-acquisition and behavior reduction protocols
based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis for children/youth with Autism and related developmental disabilities. RBT's also collect data and provide support when needed including assisting with parent training.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Registered Behavior Technician training and successfully completed certification program upon hire or within 6 months of start date
  • Experience working with children in the 0-18 age range ideally in a classroom or 1:1 setting

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in human services field
  • Experience implementing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Educational or speech services experience
