About CCSN: The Center for Children with Special Needs

Join a compassionate and collaborative team dedicated to helping children learn, grow, and succeed! CCSN provides center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and families. If you love working with kids and want a meaningful role where you can build valuable skills, we want to meet you!

Position Summary

This is a part-time, center-based position. Behavior Technicians work directly with children to build communication, social, and daily living skills while following behavior-support plans developed by our clinical team.

Compensation & Hours

Starting Pay:

  • Behavior Technicians (no RBT): $19.00/hour
  • Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT): $20.50/hour starting, up to $24.50/hour for 4+ years experience

Schedule:

  • Part-time, up to 29 hours/week with flexible scheduling based on candidate availability

Hours of operation:

  • Monday–Friday: 7:45 AM – 6:15 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM

More availability increases the likelihood we can accommodate preferred shift requests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to children receiving ABA services in a center-based setting
  • Implement individualized treatment goals under supervision of a BCBA or Lead Clinician
  • Collect accurate data during every session
  • Collaborate with clinical team members and caregivers to support progress
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a safe environment for all clients

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children (e.g., previous ABA experience, childcare, coaching, babysitting, education)
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable engaging with children with unique learning needs

Preferred (not required):

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification - Paid Training for candidates seeking RBT certification
  • Experience in ABA or special education settings

Physical Requirements for position:

  • Physical demands associated with this position include walking / standing for approximately 80% of the day.
  • Active with patients, including sitting, and getting up from the floor, sit/play on the floor for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to complete skills required for Physical Management Techniques (PMT) to safely support patients.
  • Be able to lift 40 pounds without assistance.
  • Operating and working on a laptop, keyboard and/or iPad.
  • Be physically present at the assigned job location.
