Rayco Exteriors is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Stucco Technician to join our team. The candidate we seek will possess expertise in stucco, painting and waterproofing. POSITION OVERVIEW

Our Stucco Technicians work in collaboration with our Superintendents, Project Managers, Director of Operations and Support Staff. You will be responsible for performance of stucco, painting and related trades listed above in a skilled, efficient and quality manner. We take pride in our workmanship.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • On-site and ready to work by 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. From time-to-time overtime opportunity may be available as job(s) requires.
  • Self-performing repairs in an efficient, cost effective manner with quality of work as their top priority
  • Photo documenting needed repairs and reporting job status updates to supervisor
  • Provide your own tools and transportation
  • Monitors day-to-day job site safety, security and cleanliness
  • Reports to Project Superintendent/Manager any discoveries outside of scope of work (damages, rot, change orders)
  • Reports any issues, delays, accidents or other incidents to Superintendent/Project Manager
  • Reports any emergencies or requests of client to Superintendent/Project Manager

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills/experience:

  • Hands-on stucco, painting and/or waterproofing experience, preferably in multi-family dwelling improvements
  • Highly knowledgeable in stucco, painting and related practices, regulations and safety compliance
  • Proven hands-on stucco, painting experience
  • Excellent understanding of stucco and painting techniques and materials
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
  • Good understanding of basic math
  • Preferably bi-lingual but not required (English/Spanish)
  • Maintains a personable, approachable, friendly demeanor with all associates, clients and colleagues.
  • Maintains a clean, professional, personal appearance
  • Very responsive and able to multi-task or make changes based on the day-to-day needs of the project
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking ability
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving background
