Use of testing devices to troubleshoot electrical issues andinspectvarious electrical components.Maintainand upkeep equipment as assigned andparticipateinroot causeanalysis ofmachineryfaults,identifythe necessary steps to correct thefaults, andmakerepairsandparticipatein finding solutions toeliminatefuture recurrence of thefaults.

  • Non-Equipment Related Tasks:

  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or plant management.

  • Attend all required meetings (first day back, safety, training, etc.)

  • ATD (Attention to Detail) General housekeeping tomaintaina clean and safe work environment.

  • General Plant Repairs (Bathroom, Office, Breakroom, Parking Lot, Painting, Roof, Etc.)

  • CMMS Work Order Accuracy

  • Will ensure that all upkeep and repairs to asset/equipment will be documented in the CMMS (Sharp) system.This will include labor and materials used to complete needed tasks

  • Will meet set goals that include KPI's that will improve efficiency, downtime reductions with a distinction of process and equipment related downtime

  • Will provide training to other technicians asrequired

  • Must completeDOSToolactivities tocurrentpay level.Must complete higherDOSToolactivity levels asrequired.

  • Critical Skills

  • Must be able toparticipatein root cause analysis of equipment failuresassistinginidentifyingthe root causes of problems.

  • Must be able toassistin implementation of solutions to resolve equipment failures, preventing recurrences.

  • Basic math skills are essential

  • Must be able tooperatea PIT (Fork/Squeeze) or willing to learn

  • May berequiredtooperateaerial lift

  • PreviousMechanical Equipment Repair/Upkeep Experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to walk up and downstairs.

  • Must be able to sit,standor walk for the majority ofshift.

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry loads of up to 50 pounds withoutassistance.

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, grasp and reachfrequently.

  • Must be able to work with hands/armsextended overhead.

  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly.

  • Must be able tooperatehand and power tools and equipment.

  • Must be able to work inelevatedenvironment (ladders, lifts, baskets, etc.) for extended periods of time.
