Job description



An organization in the aviation industry is seeking a Sr. Java Full Stack Cloud Developer in Fort Worth, TX to design, build, and support enterprise-scale applications in a hybrid environment. This role combines hands-on software engineering with cloud development, modern frontend work, and production support for large-scale systems.


About the Opportunity:




  • Shift: Day shift




  • Schedule: Monday through Friday (hybrid, 3 days onsite per week)




  • Hours: Standard business




  • Setting: Hybrid




Responsibilities:




  • Design, develop, test, and document technical solutions in accordance with organizational standards.




  • Build and maintain full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.




  • Develop cloud-based solutions and support deployment in Azure and Kubernetes environments.




  • Optimize applications and system designs for performance, resiliency, reliability, and incremental delivery.




  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and deliver scalable solutions.




Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.




  • 7-9 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments.




  • Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, cloud technologies, Azure, and Kubernetes.




  • Experience with object-oriented design principles and Agile/Scrum methodologies.




  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.




Desired Skills:




  • Experience working in the airline industry.




  • Familiarity with Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Docker, GitHub, Azure DevOps, REST, GraphQL, Kafka, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and test automation tools.




  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications across multiple teams.




  • Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly in writing, verbally, and through diagrams.
