Cardiologist (Non-Invasive)
Compensation: Competitive, productivity-based compensation (well above MGMA median) + Incentives
Job Type: Full time. Monday - Friday. Day shift.
Location: Rutland, Vermont
We are seeking a Fellowship-trained, non-invasive Cardiologist to join a thriving and collegial practice of established Cardiologists. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a well-supported, integrated health system with strong tertiary referral partnerships.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiovascular care in an outpatient and inpatient setting
  • Perform and interpret non-invasive diagnostic studies (e.g., echocardiography, stress testing, Holter monitoring)
  • Evaluate and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions
  • Provide consultative services to hospital inpatients
  • Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and emergency medicine physicians
  • Coordinate care with tertiary centers for invasive and electrophysiology procedures
  • Participate in shared call rotation
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical excellence
Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program
  • Completion of an accredited Cardiology fellowship (non-invasive)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
  • Eligible for or holding an active Vermont medical license
  • Eligible for hospital credentialing and privileges Strong clinical skills and commitment to high-quality patient-centered care
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
