Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain drilling fluid systems based on well conditions and drilling requirements
- Monitor and test drilling fluid properties to ensure optimal performance and stability
- Adjust fluid composition to address changing downhole conditions and operational challenges
- Provide on-site technical support to drilling operations and communicate recommendations to the drilling team
- Track and report daily fluid usage, costs, and performance metrics
- Troubleshoot drilling fluid-related issues such as loss circulation, wellbore instability, or contamination
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and proper handling/disposal of drilling fluids
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, inventory tracking, and treatment logs
- Coordinate with vendors and supply teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and chemicals
- Support safe work practices and participate in safety meetings and site procedures
