Responsibilities:
  • Primary job would be to operates Log truck with 60' reach which can also operate as a small crane for tree or log removals.
  • Operate other equipment as assigned.(logtrailer, stump grinders, etc.)
  • Services trucks and equipment. Keeps trucks and other assigned equipment in a neat and orderly fashion.Reportsthe need for repairs oftruckand equipment to crew leader.
  • Safeguards employees andpublicfrom hazards in and around the work area, staying in frequent voice communication with workers aloft. Participates in weekly safetymeetingand daily job briefings.
  • Adheres to all industry and company safety standards and policies including the use of PPE. Helps enforce job safety practices.
  • Keepsworkarea clean and orderly.
  • Assist ground crew with set up and clean up tasks on job site. Works from the ground using handsaws, poles saws. Must know or be willing to learn how to properly use a chainsaw on the ground.
  • Unloads, lays out, prepares and stows materials, tools and equipment at work site.

Qualifications:
  • CDL Required
  • Clean Driving record
  • Experience in Tree Care desired
