BUSY & ROBUST NEUROLOGICAL SERVICE LINE

McLaren Bay Region Hospital is recruiting a Neurologist to join a busy and well-established practice in Bay City, Michigan.

  • This opportunity is to work with two Advanced Practice providers in a highly collegial and supportive setting.
  • This position includes 1 week of clinic and 3 weeks of hospital rounding inclusive weekend coverage with a shared call schedule of 1:2.
  • Enjoy a flexible schedule in a beautiful clinic located a few miles from the hospital with experienced and fully staffed support team.
  • Service line growth responsibilities include one to two days a month at our McLaren Central hospital in Mt Pleasant, Michigan. Qualified candidates will be BE/BC.

McLaren Bay Region Neurology provides a full spectrum of neurological care for patients, from minor injuries to complex traumatic injury cases. Our Neuroscience services provide our coverage area with the highest quality diagnostic, surgical and rehab services to manage a myriad of neurological conditions including head and spine, epilepsy, migraine, Parkinson s as well as stroke and TIAs . The practice provides Botox treatments and reading EEG s with the option to read EMG s and nerve conduction studies.

Additional privileging included at our long-term acute care campus located less than five miles from McLaren Bay Region. McLaren Bay Special Care is a 31-bed long-term acute care hospital specializing in the care and treatment of patients with complex medical needs, including a ventilator weaning program , that requires lengths of stay greater than 25 days. The experienced staff are highly trained and use a team approach to provide intensive, individualized treatment. The hospital is licensed by the Michigan Department of Community Health and is accredited by The Joint Commission.
