Position: Metal Plater / Line Operator (training provided to right candidate- read full description before applying) Company: Avtec Finishing / New Hope MN Shift: 5a - 3p M-Th (+OT as needed)Note: There's a possibility that training will be done on 1st shift (5a-3p M-Th) for about 3-6 months Wage: $24/Hour + DOQ Signing Bonus: $1500 (new hires only) (Employment/staffing agencies - please do not reach out about this ad. Training involves both hands-on training and online coursework, related to plating processes, metals, and chemical properties. What we can't train? Work ethic. Reliability.

There is a place to explain in the screener questions included with this ad. ____________________ What You'll Do * Perform plating operations per specifications and quality standards * Set up, monitor, and control plating lines and chemical baths * Process parts for required durations per shop paperwork * Inspect parts for thickness, defects, and quality compliance * Verify correct racking prior to plating * Operate and assist with plating tanks and rinse systems * Complete all required paperwork accurately * Follow all safety procedures and properly use PPE * Identify and report process or equipment issues * Maintain a clean and organized work area * Work independently while meeting production goals This is active work—you'll be on your feet, using your hands, and staying focused.
