We are currently hiring for a Machine Operator with CNC/Press Brake experience in our Lafayette, IN facility.  Job tasks include set up and operating press brake, measurement and inspection of parts.   

Position Summary

  • Set up parameters of press brake through touch screen on the equipment to adjust tonnage, angle, speed, and number of bends on a work piece.
  • Responsible for producing parts in the proper quantity as identified by the production schedule
  • Determine angle of bends by utilizing protractor, tape measure, and squares to ensure that parts conform to customer specification by.
  • Perform in-process inspections of parts throughout the manufacturing run and ensure they meet visual standards of acceptance.
  • Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum one year press brake or CNC machine operation experience; or recent certification from a manufacturing or technical program
