Job description

Speech-Language Pathologist- Day Shift
Location: Pittsfield, MA, 01201
Assignment Duration: 15 Weeks
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $2,100 - $2,275; (Negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practice.
  • Provide therapy to improve communication skills, cognitive-linguistic abilities, and swallowing function.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to coordinate care.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations and facility policies.
  • Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for ongoing care or therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid SLP license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • CPR/BLS Certification (Required).
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting (e.g., hospital, SNF, outpatient).
