Job description

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Factory Launch Team plays a critical role in enabling Anduril to scale production and deliver on our commitments to customers. We are responsible for the end-to-end execution of new facility launches, from planning and coordination through production handoff. Our team ensures that new manufacturing capabilities come online smoothly, on time, and ready to support mission-critical production programs.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a Launch Execution Manager to own the day-to-day execution of factory launch playbooks across multiple production programs. This role is critical to scaling our operations and ensuring seamless coordination between construction, production, and cross-functional partners. You will be the primary interface with production program teams, driving tactical execution while escalating blockers and maintaining visibility into launch progress. The ideal candidate has strong program management experience, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can balance multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact on Anduril's ability to deliver defense capabilities at scale. A successful candidate will be expected to work out of Columbus, OH. Based on eligibility, relocation assistance may be available. Travel may eventually be required but will be minimal to start.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Execute and maintain launch playbooks for assigned production programs, ensuring all activities are tracked, completed on schedule, and aligned with overall launch timelines.
  • Partner directly with production program teams to understand requirements, coordinate launch activities, and ensure smooth handoffs from construction to production operations.
  • Coordinate handoffs between construction and production teams, ensuring facilities, equipment, and systems are ready for operational use and meet production readiness requirements.
  • Track playbook completion, identify and escalate blockers, and drive resolution of issues that could impact launch timelines or production readiness.
  • Lead tactical standup meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across all teams involved in the launch.
  • Own operational readiness testing (ORT) execution, coordinating with technical teams to validate that all systems, equipment, and processes are functioning correctly before production handoff.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of launch activities, lessons learned, and process improvements to continuously improve launch execution and build reusable playbooks.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Construction teams to resolve dependencies and ensure integrated launch execution.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, or operations in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment.
  • 2+ years of experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute detailed plans and playbooks while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and emerging priorities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across technical and non-technical teams, escalate issues appropriately, and provide clear status updates.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments where priorities shift and the ability to maintain composure and focus is critical.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability for delivering results on time.
  • Proficient with project management tools and Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, or similar tools).
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with new facility launches, factory startups, or new product introduction (NPI) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar program/project management certification.
  • Familiarity with construction management, facility commissioning, or equipment installation and qualification processes.
  • Experience working in aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries with quality management systems (AS9100, ISO standards).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience with production readiness testing, operational acceptance testing, or commissioning/qualification activities.
