  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Oklahoma Electrical Journeyman License or completion of an INTEGRIS Health-approved apprenticeship program

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of related experience in healthcare or similar complex environments
  • Lead installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades of hospital electrical systems, including lighting, emergency power, patient care equipment, medical grounding, and infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues while ensuring compliance with NFPA, CMS, OSHA, The Joint Commission, and hospital standards.
  • Install, operate, test, and maintain critical systems, including generators, UPS units, transfer switches, paralleling switchgear, line isolation monitors, fire alarms, motor control centers, and programmable switchgear.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, system testing, and diagnostics using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and power analyzers.
  • Interpret electrical schematics and support hospital systems, including motor controls, HVAC interfaces, programmable controls, and emergency power sequencing.
  • Supervise and mentor apprentices, collaborate with project teams, and enforce safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, hot work permits, confined space entry, and PPE requirements.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to support patient care environments and ensure reliable operation of critical electrical systems.
  • Maintain required documentation, participate in facility inspections, and support accreditation, regulatory, and compliance initiatives.
  • Apply healthcare-specific electrical safety protocols and best practices to ensure system reliability, regulatory compliance, and patient safety.
