RN - Critical Care

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Reno, NV area for the following position: RN - Critical Care. Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Arrhythmia management, Bariatric, CODE, COVID, CRRT training, CVICU, Care of burn patients, Chest tube, ECMO, External pacemaker, High acuity, Intra aortic balloon pump, MICU, Neuro ICU, Post MI thermo care, Post cardiac surgery care, Post neuro surgery, RRT, SICU, TPA admin, Transplant, or Vascular intervention.

Shift(s) available: day shift, night shift, and mid shift

Job types available: full time, part time, and per diem

Qualifications:

  • ADN or higher degree in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1+ years of experience in a critical care unit (ICU) preferred
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Ability to function effectively under stress
  • Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skill
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Rapidly assess a patient conditions, including vital signs and other physiological parameters, and intervene with the appropriate care
  • Monitor and provide care to patients with critically ill, unstable, and/or life-threatening conditions
  • Manage various life-support systems like ventilation and heart-monitoring
  • Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations
  • Administer medications and other treatments
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan

Salary: $60,550 to $100,990 /year
