K9 Attendant - Dog Daycare

Hounds Town Fairfield is seeking dedicated and passionate dog lovers to join our team as Part-Time K9 Attendants.

About Us: At Hounds Town, we pride ourselves on offering a fully interactive doggie daycare experience. Dogs are placed in playgroups based on size and temperament, allowing them to interact and play throughout the day. This natural pack structure helps alleviate separation anxiety, build confidence, improve obedience, and address other behavioral issues. Our customers have peace of mind knowing their dogs are in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact positively with dogs of all sizes, types, and breeds
  • Maintain control of large groups of dogs in an open play environment
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, taking out trash, washing dishes, doing laundry, and scrubbing walls, floors, and beds
  • Ensure the general safety and supervision of dogs, adhering to all policies and procedures
  • Bathe dogs and assist with food preparation and feeding
  • Maintain cleanliness in kennels and playrooms
  • Provide excellent customer service to dog owners
  • Demonstrate basic computer skills
  • Take direction from Shift Leaders and work well as part of a team
  • Be organized, hardworking, and self-motivated
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and be on your feet for 5-8 hours
  • Be available to work weekends and holidays
