Shape Kansas’s commercial structures with precision! We are seeking an experienced Commercial Carpenters to install, finish, and repair woodwork in retail, office, and institutional buildings. If you excel at trim work and millwork—and take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship—we want you on our team!
Position Overview
As a Commercial Carpenter, you will interpret blueprints and specifications to build, install, and repair interior finishes. You’ll coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to sequence carpentry work while adhering to local codes and architectural requirements. This full-time, on-site role offers steady hours, optional overtime, and clear advancement opportunities.
What You’ll Do
  • Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and material specifications
  • Install doors, windows, cabinets, custom millwork, and finish carpentry elements
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal, or composite materials with hand and power tools
  • Repair or replace damaged woodwork, fixtures, and trim to maintain structural integrity and aesthetics
  • Collaborate with other trades to ensure proper fit, finish, and project sequencing
  • Follow all safety protocols, including fall protection and proper tool handling
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience in new construction and renovation projects
