Built on a legacy of quality and innovation, we are seeking an Assembly Operator to join our team and support our continued growth.
This role will be involved in the operation of assembly equipment to manufacture plastic parts for cooler related products meeting quality and production standards.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manually assembles parts by following specific work instructions
  • Monitors parts/product for quality issues and notifies the Line Lead, Quality, Supervisor or Manager if a discrepancy is detected
  • Places fully assembled items in boxes into their designated locations
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintains good housekeeping practices in their work area and all common areas
  • Performs activities including screw gunning, foaming, cleaning and drain plug operation
  • Understands the escalation process in case he/she is not receiving the proper tools, training and guidance
  • Meets both Efficiency and Quality standards at all times while working on the lines
  • Monitors the assembly machinery for proper functionality and contact line lead or supervisor if any defects in the line or machinery are detected
  • Reports any activity or machinery that is unsafe to the Line Lead and/or Supervisor
  • Wears all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Adheres to dress code and hair policy
  • Complies with the company's quality policy at all times
  • Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance
  • May be required to work mandatory overtime and/or irregular hours and/or on irregular days to complete assignments and meet business needs
  • Relieves other Machine Operators as needed
  • Train operators as required
  • Participates in Continuous Improvement Initiatives
  • Supports Line Leaders as requested
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:
  • No previous experience required
  • Physical Demands:
    • Able to lift a maximum of 35 lbs. multiple times a day during a 12 hour shift floor to waist level
    • Able to lift overhead up to 35 lbs. repetitively
    • Bend and stand in difficult positions up to 12 hours
    • Able to push up to 35 lbs. on rollers or wheels
    • Minimum height requirement of 60 inches
  • Must have solid attention to detail
  • Language skills: Able to read, write, speak and comprehend either English or Spanish
  • Math skills: Basic
  • Work environment: Manufacturing environment is hot and humid in summer months, cold during winter months. High noise level requires use of hearing protection.

Willingness to work extended hours or rotating shifts as business needs require.
Physical Demands & Conditions

Standing & Walking
Roles may involve extended periods (up to 12 hours) of standing and walking, including moving at a brisk pace and occasional stair climbing.
Postural Requirements
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in low or awkward positions during production or maintenance tasks.
Lifting & Material Handling
  • Operator-level roles may involve lifting up to 25 lb repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Technician-level roles may involve lifting up to 50 lb multiple times per day, including overhead lifts.
  • Where possible, mechanical aids (e.g., hoists, forklifts) are used.

Fine Motor Skills & Tool Use
Use of both hands is required to operate tools, perform adjustments, and handle assembly materials with precision.
Visual Requirements
Sufficient visual acuity (e.g., 20/40 with or without correction) is necessary for tasks involving inspection and safe equipment operation.
Environmental Conditions
  • Work is performed in a production setting where seasonal temperatures may range from 100-120F (with humidity) in summer to cooler conditions in winter.
  • High noise levels are common; hearing protection is provided and required.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as ear protection, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and protective clothing may be required depending on the task.
