Job description

What You’ll Be Part Of:
Join a team that values safety, quality, and collaboration in the production of industry-leading materials. As a Machine Operator, you’ll play a vital role in manufacturing high-quality monofilament fibers within our production environment. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team to ensure safe, efficient production while meeting the highest quality standards.

This position is available on our 2A Day Shift:

2A Shift: Wednesday, 1:00pm – 7:00pm, and Thursday – Saturday, 7:00am – 7:00pm
Shift 2A is eligible for a $4,000 sign-on bonus: $1,000 after 3 months, $1,500 after 6 months, and $1,500 after 9 months.

Starting pay: $24.25 per hour

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate extrusion machinery to manufacture high-quality monofilament fibers according to production orders and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with your team to maintain efficient, high-quality production processes.
  • Perform equipment setup, adjustments, and changeovers as needed.
  • Ensure proper winding of filament on spools, maintaining consistent tension.
  • Package finished products and prepare materials for upcoming production cycles.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and complete machine-related charts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred; familiarity with Lean Sigma concepts is a plus.
  • Skills: Ability to read, write, and follow instructions, strong attention to detail, and basic math proficiency.
  • Dependability: A strong sense of reliability, including excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Physical Requirements: Capability to lift up to 55 pounds, perform bending and stooping, and stand for up to 12 hours in an industrial environment.
